The Leisure Independence Party began with a modest concern: that a society which treats burnout as ambition and outrage as engagement may have misplaced its priorities. We believe stability, protected time, and functional relationships are not luxuries. They are prerequisites for civic health.

We advocate for uninterrupted weekends, guilt-free vacations, and a culture where brunch does not require strategic planning around Monday consequences. We question whether career wear should be mandatory for psychological legitimacy, and whether every small preference needs a public stance.
